Gary Cloyd became personally involved in money management in 1984.

In the process of learning the ins and outs of money management, one of the questions that was always on his mind was, “Who can I find to work with in the investment arena who is both knowledgeable and trustworthy?”

In 1987 Gary decided to become such a person.  At the age of 31 he went back to school with the idea of entering the pastoral ministry or working in the area of Financial Planning with a Christian emphasis.

Gary joined May Financial Group in 1991, while finishing up his final year of College.  He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Services from Wright State University where he graduated with high honors in 1992.  In that same year Gary completed the requirements for his Certified Financial Planner designation.

Clients have benefited from working with Gary for nearly a decade. After an initial meeting where client goals are shared, Gary develops either a comprehensive financial plan or a singular strategy to help the client’s goals become a reality. With Gary’s assistance, clients have been able to fund for college educations, fund their retirement, reduce their reliance on debt, and uncover risk management strategies that work.

In the area of Business Planning Gary has helped businesses establish employee benefit plans like 401k – SEP – SIMPLE retirement plans, group health plans, and buy-sell agreements.
